My favorite millennial beauty brand has opened its fifth retail location in Washington, D.C.!
Way back in 2018 I visited the Glossier flagship store in New York so I was thrilled when they announced they were opening a permanent store in DC.
As an affiliate partner for Glossier, I was lucky to be invited to a sneak peek of the Glossier DC store a few days prior to the grand opening. The new location is inspired by all things aviation and the “jet age.” Glossier is known for their different, immersive themes.
Welcome to terminal G – a sleek pink airport with runway-inspired lighting, plane windows and even a flipboard to let you know there are “pink skies ahead.” Like all Glossier locations, the shop is a treasure trove for taking cute selfies. There’s a “you look good” photo area right behind the switchboard.
The showroom features every Glossier product so you can swatch to your heart’s desire. There’s also a wet bar to test out Glossier body and soap products. Personally, I love being able to swatch every shade of Cloud Paint, plus the new colored eyeliners.

“Editors” aka sales associates dressed in cute pink jumpsuits occupy the showroom floor to take orders. Purchases are packaged in Glossier’s millennial pink bags and appear around a pipeline, aka “baggage claim.”
At all of their retail locations, Glossier partners with area non-profits whose work directly impacts the local community. Glossier’s DC exclusive merch is a cute red luggage tag for $5 and will benefit BUILD Metro DC, a non-profit org that works with youth in inner-city communities to build career success, entrepreneurial mindsets and opportunity.
I’m really excited about the new Glossier DC store and I’m already planning to go back again to pick up the luggage tag—I love collecting Glossier merch!
