If you’re a clean makeup enthusiast, then this Sephora set might be worth adding to your next Sephora haul.
I purchased my first Sephora Favorites set a couple months ago and was overall really happy with the set I purchased. This is a newer set that caught my attention and with the holiday season right around the corner, it’s the perfect entryway to sampling products without committing to full-size purchases.
The set includes six Clean at Sephora makeup items:
- Tower 28 JuiceBalm Tinted Lip Balm in Mix (full size, exclusive preview)
- Milk Makeup Color Chalk Multi-Use powder Pigment in Hopscotch (full size)
- Merit Flush Balm Cream Blush in Cheeky (full size)
- Tatcha The Liquid Silk Canvas Primer (deluxe mini)
- ILIA Fullest Volumizing Mascara in black (deluxe mini)
- Saie Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Dewy Highlighter in Starglow (mini size)
Merit Flush Balm in Cheeky
The Merit blush is my favorite product of the bunch. I like the dome-shaped packaging and that I can just swipe it directly on my cheeks. It’s a beautiful cool-toned berry cream blush that blends easily but does start to fade after a few hours. It’s small enough to fit in most handbags for touch-ups though!
Milk Makeup Color Chalk in Hopscotch
This is probably my least favorite product in the set. I was not a fan of the Milk Makeup Color Chalk – the concept is intriguing but the packaging is awful and is more fussy than other multi-use makeup products. The shade is called hopscotch and it looks like a champagne gold highlighter. The concept is that you can use this color chalk as an eyeshadow, highlighter or lip topper.
Tower 28 JuiceBalm Tinted Lip Balm in Mix
I think it’s pretty cool to be able to try an exclusive new product that hasn’t launched yet and I’m a huge fan of Tower 28 beauty. The JuiceBalm is very creamy and has a nude pigmented tint to it. I love the crayon but the formula is extremely soft and melts quickly. If you’re interested in the new balm, it launches on November 8th.
ILIA Fullest Volumizing Mascara in black
The ILIA mascara looks very natural for a volumizing formula, it’s definitely a tube I’ll keep in my makeup bag but I’m unsure if I would purchase the full-size version down the line (it’s pricey). I think I like my Rare Beauty slightly more.
Tatcha The Liquid Silk Canvas Primer
I’ve only sampled the original Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer and wasn’t a fan but the liquid version isn’t bad, although it leans on the runny side. I still prefer my Laura Mercier primer on most days.
Saie Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Dewy Highlighter in Starglow
This might be one of my favorite liquid highlighters. The texture is very dewy and lightweight. It gives a nice, natural glow that pairs well with my ILIA Skin Tint. I think this product alone made the set worth it considering it’s a mini size and will last a long time.
For reference, the cost of every full-size product in this set adds up to $60 so the cost of this sampler set is definitely a steal. There were only two products I didn’t love in this set, which was the Tatcha primer and Milk Makeup Color Chalk. Aside from that, I plan on using the other products regularly.
You can purchase the Sparkly Clean Makeup Set here for $36. The Fall Beauty Insider Sale is also right around the corner! If you don’t want to pay full-price, you can add this set to your wish list and add it to your cart in November.
Every Milk makeup product I’ve tried (given it’s only been 2-3) has been “meh” to me.
I feel the same way. I’m tempted by the Milk matte bronzer stick but I have too many powder ones to go through first.
